THE STORY BEHIND IT ALL
It all started with a splash...
Growing up in a small town in southeast Saskatchewan, Wendy fell in love with the water at a young age. She spent her summers at the local pool and couldn't keep her feet dry at the lake. After taking her lifeguarding and instructor courses, she found that teaching swimming was what brightened her soul.

No matter what career Wendy chose, the water always drew her back to the pool. After several years working as a lifeguard, pool technician and swim instructor, Wendy started Prairie Waves in 2020 - a swim school that would incorporate her love of swimming and embracing her home roots right here in Saskatchewan.

As a wife and a mom of two wonderful boys, she offers a unique and gentle approach to teaching swimming. She shares her love with the water with all her students and that passion shines with each successful lesson.
1-ON-1 SWIM LESSONS
Where the Fun Begins
1-on-1 lessons offer a unique, curated plan to meet swimmer's needs and goals. These lessons are great for any age and skill level. Starting at 2 years of age all the way up to 99!
PRICE LIST
Invest in a fun, life-saving skill!
1-TO-1 PRIVATE LESSONS
$35 + tax
Price is per lesson. Lessons are 30 min and sessions run 8-10 weeks in length. Adult lessons can be booked at longer intervals.
2-TO-1 SEMI PRIVATE LESSONS
$57 + tax
Price is per lesson. Lessons are 30 min in length and sessions run 8-10 weeks in length. Adult lessons can be booked at longer intervals. Price for this is for both participants.
BABY & ME LESSONS
$32 + tax
Price is per lesson. Lessons are 30 min and sessions run 8-10 weeks in length. Multiple participants can register in the same spot. Price for this is for each participant. (Baby/Caregiver are included as one participant)

EAST COLLEGE PARK

This pool is located in a private home. Approximately 18' X 30' with a shallow end and deep end. This pool is excellent for all skill levels and those practicing their diving skills. Generous seating area and washroom/changeroom is available for client use.
BEST WESTERN AIRPORT
317 Aerogreen Crescent
This pool is 3ft at its shallowest and 5ft at its deepest. A great north end location suitable for beginner to intermediate skill levels. A fantastic area to practice lane swim etiquette and stroke development. Seating area and washrooms/changerooms available for client use.
